OKay, what it is it?
One could do a Y-Wing list in the Scum and Villainy faction as well. Include Kavil and genius w/Proton bombs or Proximity mines and that might be quite a squadron.
So just the obvious turret and Veteran Turret gunner. At two dice in each attack is that a thing I guess
OKay, what it is it?
Thanks! So many things to remember and where to finds them. Pretty good Astromec I would say.
R4-P can reduce the difficulty of a "basic" maneuver. So what is that?
What does his ability amount to? Is this inferring one could spend the target lock and then get it right back
And here is a bio I wrote- just because: LT Druze: An Imperial Horatio Alger story. Druze was sold into indentured servitude when a young boy by relatives seeking to take his inheritance as a minor noble. He learned to survive amid myriad threats in the rough frontier town where he trained as a technician in testing and repairing weapons and fire control systems for traders, pirates, noble house defense forces and guilds. Skilled in recognizing, tracking and using his homemade defense equipment to neutralize the multiple threats from the streets, he became the small boy no one bothered. When he neared the age to apply to the Imperial academy, he killed his master, assumed his identity, used the small fortune to help him wipe out his relatives, re-emerged as the sole heir for his house and joined the Imperial service as a young noble seeking glory and fortune. Commanding a frontier outpost was not in his plans, but he would make the most of it.
Ruthless to his enemies and competitors, he is a cold but honest and consistent leader with his troops creating highly loyal and effective combat units. Responsible for defeating the recent Rebel attack he was awaiting a visit from the regional commander for his reward when these scum arrive to attempt to take advantage of the weakened defenses. With all the light fighters on escort duty or recently destroyed or damaged, LT Druze knows just who to go to in the regional base shipyard to get some heavy hitters to help.
I took therm card from another post from 1st edition, I recall. All I am interested in are 2nd edition scenarios in whatever form. I just designed a scenario just like the one you describe. I was looking for point values for a space station- in my case a small defense outpost that is part of a picket defense. I have play tested it twice and the defense went from way underpowered to way overpowered. The attached was pointed out at 50 points and now 65 points. Since it can't move its an easy target and how to trade that for increased power and balance is not clear.
Has anyone designed a card for scenarios?
Is there somewhere that shows these?
That helps, thanks. "suffering damage" is the tip. If an effect says one suffers damage, no "hits", no defense, no neutralization just take a damage.
If a Device states it does "x" damage, is that damage or hits that can be neutralized?
It does help a lot. Thanks!
Thanks, that makes sense. TIE LN Fighters can't target without help from a Talent or Pilot, etc.
I am new so likely have missed the subtleties of how to use these. I played Vader in a game with Sense. It never had an impact. His other upgrades for the TIE Advanced X1 didn't really allow me to make use of the power. The other powers seemed meh. I took Instinctive Aim in another and it never was needed. Sense only seems to make sense if you can change what you do after you have set your dial. That seems pretty expensive for that option, but quite powerful in those few situations where you can change your dial.
Supernatural Reflexes and After burners might be effective, but very expensive.
Thoughts?
It seems like I have seen players attempt locking ( using the term target) another ship without having the target symbol on their action palette. Can this be done? The game seems to have some complexities in other rules that might make this not an obvious "no." I assume it is required. It might be gained by upgrade or additional capabilities I guess but thought I would check.
There is a list now. I assume you know that but just in case-under support: fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/x-wing-second-edition
