Ultimate Jedi Master
So I have some experience with downloading and printing out my own upgrade cards (as I really only play with one friend, and we play very casually, and not very often). But does anyone have any experience making custom ship/pilot cards? I figure someone has to have done it, but does anyone have tips? How to do it, what software to use, etc? Edit: Ok I found the Homebrew beta website. It works great. Sorry to bother yall
An upgrade idea I had
It definitely would cost a lot
I was thinking the other day about the tracking torpedoes that came with the recent Separatist huge ship, and I came up with an idea for a rework of homing missiles that could work similarly:
Upgrade:
4 charges
At the end of the engagement phase, if you have a target lock on an enemy ship, remote, or structure, you may launch a homing missile using a speed 2 bank or a speed 3 straight. That homing missile then acquires a lock on a target you have locked, regardless of range.
Remote:
Initiative 0, Agility 4, Hull 1
Activation Phase:
You may perform a speed 1 bank or a speed one straight. You must then perform a speed 1 turn, speed 2 bank, or speed 3 straight.
Then, if there is an enemy ship you have a lock on in your forward arc at range 0-1, you roll 3 dice and deal all hits/crits rolled to all ships in your forward arc at range 0-1. Then, you remove this remote from the table.
Anyone got any thoughts on this? Too powerful? Too weak? Suggestions to clean up the wording?
The flavor text says it all
So I'm tinkering with an idea for a Furball variant where you fly your main ship and a couple of small helpers, which I call Shark & Remora. The shark is always the most expensive ship in your fleet, and remora have to stay close to it or bad things happen to them. Whenever a ship is destroyed, it respawns next round. The remora can teleport over to the shark when it respawns.
That's the basic idea. Looks like I still need to work on wording, since when I asked on BGG the only reply I got was they were trying to wrap their head around it. :(
I figure this lets us play with some interesting fleet designs in a furball setting, flying multiple ships but still in a very limited capacity to keep the game small and smooth-rolling.
I also have rules for mixing this with King of the Hill and Football, which IMO would be a lot of fun too.
I'm looking for thoughts, feedback, advice on proper point caps, etc.

Has anyone designed a card for scenarios?
