Damage cards are dealt to a ship when it suffers damage, or is assigned a damage card directly. Cards are dealt faceup when a ship suffers crit damage, and can be turned face up ("exposed") by various abilities in the game.

These are the damage cards for Standard (small/medium/large) ships. For Huge Ships see Huge Ship Damage Cards.

Displaying Crits on This Wiki[]

If you want to display a crit on a page or comment, use the crit template. Simply type {{crit|crit name}} (replacing crit name with a valid damage card's name). Examples:

Blinded Pilot {{crit|Blinded Pilot}}
Console Fire {{crit|Console Fire}}
Damaged Engine {{crit|Damaged Engine}}
Damaged Sensor Array {{crit|Damaged Sensor Array}}
Direct Hit {{crit|Direct Hit}}
Disabled Power Regulator {{crit|Disabled Power Regulator}}
Fuel Leak {{crit|Fuel Leak}}
Hull Breach {{crit|Hull Breach}}
Loose Stabilizer {{crit|Loose Stabilizer}}
Panicked Pilot {{crit|Panicked Pilot}}
Structural Damage {{crit|Structural Damage}}
Stunned Pilot {{crit|Stunned Pilot}}
Weapons Failure {{crit|Weapons Failure}}
Wounded Pilot {{crit|Wounded Pilot}}

These crits can be used in-line in a sentence, for example:

I had him for sure next round, but then BAM, he lands a Blinded Pilot and a Weapons Failure on me. It all spiraled downhill from there.

If you want to display the full text of a crit instead of the hoverable text above, use the crit text template: {{Crit Text|crit name}}. For example, {{Crit Text|blinded pilot}} produces this:

Blinded Pilot
  • Type: Pilot       •       2 in deck
  • While you perform an attack, you can modify your dice only by spending Force for their default effect.
  • Action: Repair this card.

FAQ[]

Q: Does the Wounded Pilot [Damage Card]’s first effect (“After you perform an action, roll 1 attack die. On a Hit or Critical Hit result, gain 1 stress token.”) resolve after you repair it?

A: No. The card is repaired, and thus has no effect to resolve.

Q: What is the percentage that Durge 's ability would cause damage to be discarded?

A: There are 5 Direct Hit cards and 8 Pilot damage cards (13 total), meaning that there is a 39.4% chance of any given damage card on Durge being discarded. With Durge having 5 hull, he will usually regain at least 1-2 hull.
